Solo Estates tries again to develop the roof tops. Read

London Borough of Hounslow proposes a
new conservation area. On first reading it
looks as though Chiswick Village will fall just outside the proposed area. Is
this good or bad ?...........

2002 CVRL
announces a 48% rise in the service charge. In their letter CVRL
increases as much as 816% for "Legal & Professional Fees" are cited. Also
up by 716% are "Surveyors Fees" and - new in the chart this year - a vague
£200, 000 for "External Pointing & Common Parts". See a more detailed

I am all for improving
the Village and paying for it - but paying for the failed attempt by Solo
Estates for the penthouses...........This seems to be Leathbond and Berger all
over again. .
